MySQL Seminar

On the 20th of May 2011 on popular demand we again held a seminar on MySQL.
We showed the audience MySQL interface, its robus engine and use in web
applications using PHP. The crowd was very interactive and the gathering was around 140

Sun Studio

This seminar of ours coincided with our annual tech fest of instruo. A total gathering of around 122 people was there. We arranged for some giveaways.

The feedback received from the partcipants was overwhelming.

On popular demand we have reconsidered to do the same seminar again with the same set of speakers within a couple of months.

MySQL at St Xaviers

On special request I held the seminar in St Xaviers College Auditorium this time. The occasion was a grand success. Its attended by aroung 105 students of the college. I explained to them about the benefits of MySQL and that it is available under GNU Licence. I also gave them a brif idea about developing on LAMP stack. I also got a request from a huge number of attendees to hold more sessions like this. I hope I can keep their request...

VirtualBox Seminar Rocked!!!!!!!!!!!

On the 8th of October 2010 we arranged a seminar in our Civil Dept Seminar Room on VirtualBox and on NetBeans. We had a gathering of about 100 students in the seminar room. I explained to them how they can install any software virtually by VirtualBox without actually installing it on their PC. These help a lot in beta testing of softwares. We had a short quiz session after the event and on behalf of my club I distributed two t-shirts which I got on previous occasion from Sun.

In a nutshell the event was a huge success.

Seminar on Sun Studio

On the 26th of August 2010 I held a seminar on Sun Studio in our University Campus. The attendance was approximately 93. In this seminar I described to the students about the advantages of developing using the Sun Studio IDE. I stressed on the optimisation features of Sun Studio, where they can get it from etc.

In a nutshell the vent was a grand success. At the end we conducted a small quiz on the seminar to distribute the goodies.....

A Glance into MySQL

On the 03.03.2010 we held a seminar on MySQL and the total no of attendees was about 85. We emphasised on the key feautures of this DBMS software. We discussed about its scalability, reliability and its ease of use. We showed some common MySQL queries, optimization of performance and concluded the session with the key chains as a token of appreciation for attending the event

Seminar on NetBeans

I with help from some of my friends held a seminar on NetBeans in our University Seminar Room. We emphasized on the NetBeans IDE 6.8. We elaborated on the power of NetBeans and the support it provides to the entire Java EE 6 spec. with improved support on JSF 2.0/Facelets etc. We also elaborated on how it can help to create PHP web application with the new PHP 5.3 release.

We were aptly rewarded in our endeavour by the kind of applause we got from the audience.
